New Base Cloths. New Craftmanship
The new Woodlands and loom collections presented us with new base cloths that felt super luxury to touch and we venture on bringing materials like bamboo into the base cloths. This presents a new structure and with our partners in India we worked hard to bring all the skill of hand to eye to the centre of this collection. This is Indian craftsmanship at its best and we are proud that this is at the heart of what we do.
At Molly Mahon, we are always looking to the future and constantly seeking the best materials and practices, using responsibly sourced, regeneratively grown fibres like bamboo and aloe in addition to our well sourced cottons and linens. We believe in ethical production methods that support people and the planet.

Carving is an intricate skill. It is an art form that brings our designs to life with the placing of the block loaded with paint to the base cloth.
Our secret measurements
Water based colour mixing by eye is a skill. We work within a 5% tolerance in matching repeat designs. The woodlands collections brings a few new colours to Molly Mahon designs.

Forest Flowers
An open repeat of little abstract flowers that Molly finds in and around the forest. Evocative of the carpet of flora that springs to life as winter ends with its sprigs of spring flowers.

Brings not only a new base cloth, cotton weaved with jute, it also brings all of Molly Mahon's colours into one design. Allowing you to bring all of our collections together by linking this design into your scheme

We value the artisan craftsmanship that goes into every step of our production. Our partners in India produce the very thread, weave the very base cloth, carve the designs from Molly Mahon into block printing wooden blocks, mix the colour, block print the base cloth all by hand. It is art at every step of the production. It is an artistry that has stood the test of time and produces a truly unique product, full of human touch.
