Woodlands represents our most sustainable endeavour yet, a reflection of the brand’s commitment to responsible craftsmanship. From the very essence of the yarn to the final fabric, every decision has been made with intention and care.

As always, colour is at the heart of the collection, but in Woodlands, there is a newness, the hues are rich yet soothing, vibrant yet grounded, reflecting the serene yet wild spirit of the forest.

In a quiet grove where whispers sing,

Ashdown

Named in celebration of the beautiful woodlands where Molly lives and works, this decorative block print features a detail of the curling, fiddlehead fern, which unfurls across the cloth in a delightfully delicate manner.

Forest Flowers

An open repeat of little abstract flowers that Molly finds in and around the forest. Evocative of the carpet of flor that springs to life as winter ends with its sprigs of spring flowers.

Sycamore

An homage to immortalise the magnificent and symbolic tree which sat alongside Hadrian’s Wall for centuries. This block print is directly inspired by a memory Molly has of the day she visited Sycamore Gap with her daughter when the tree stood proud against a crisp, blue sky. Featuring a block printed sycamore set amongst rolling hills.

Woodland Sprig

A leafy pattern created by Molly as a study of the leaves of the Ash Tree, depicting the canopy of foliage overhead in the forest that creates the many dappled reflections on the forest floor.

Trailing Acorn

This elegant design delivers trailing leaves that capture the classic, English oak leaf relief, an extension to the original Molly Mahon ‘Oak’ pattern. A symbol of strength and wisdom the magnificent oak holds extra special meaning to Molly, being the tree whose boughs she stood beneath when she married Rollo.

Foxglove

A beautiful rendition of the classic wildflower, a genus that has many different species. This block print features a variety found commonly in the forest where Molly lives and mythically worn by the foxes who make their dens in the woodland hills.

Horse Chestnut

The classic horse chestnut leaf has been captured as a block print with its hand like patterned leaf set against a coloured ground that evokes memories of the leaves falling through and the smell of roasted chestnuts.

Leafy Trellis

A detailed, leafy trellis pattern, that creates a rhythmic lattice print on this sumptuous silky new elegant cloth made from sustainably produced Aloe. The design works beautifully on its own or combined with the leafier Woodland Sprig.

Indian Leaf

Inspired by an ancient block gifted to Molly on a trip to India, this block print features the fragrant bay leaf layered against a gently dotted ground that brings the wonderful gift of nature into a home.
